No more interruptions: When Kanye West and Taylor Swift meet again at the MTV VMA Awards Sept. 12, he has a special gift for the singer – hopefully, she will let him finish.
“I wrote a song for Taylor Swift that’s so beautiful and I want her to have it,” he said on his Twitter Saturday morning. “If she won’t take it then I’ll perform it for her.”
Perhaps a sly nod to her pop anthem, “You’re Not Sorry,” which was released on her 2008 album Fearless?
Nearly a year since he first apologized to Swift, the hip-hop artist is still offering up I’m sorries, calling her “justa lil girl with dreams like the rest of us” on his Twitter.
“She deserves the apology more than anyone,” he Tweeted, before thanking the creators of Twitter for making a public platform for expression. “We’re both artist[s] and the media and managers are trying to get between us. Everyone wants to capitalize off this [in] some way.”

Taylor Swift’s new album doesn’t come out until Oct. 25. That’s eight weeks away. But thanks to EW.com, you can already get a sense of what’s to come. And what it took to get there. “For me, I’m either incredibly stressed or overjoyed, and the way that usually goes is that if I’ve just written a song, I’m the happiest you will ever see me,” she said. “If I haven’t written a song in more than about nine days, that’s when I start to zone out in the middle of conversations because I’m thinking about what I could be writing about next.” And she promised that the songs on Speak Now are not all just straightforward love songs. There are ones about infatuation and adoration and confusion and social dynamics. “Life and love are unpredictable,” Swift said. As for putting together an entire album, Swift said, “I don’t really have much of an interest in having a few possible radio singles and then filling in the blanks with whatever you have.”

It took a bit of luck, but Taylor Swift found the perfect groom – for her new music video.
The singing sensation, 20, picked British-born actor Toby Hemingway, 27, to walk her down the aisle in the video for her soon-to-be-released song, “Mine,” in which she plays a bride.
“I saw Feast of Love and just loved that movie and thought Toby was so great that I thought it would be perfect to put him in the video,” Swift tells PEOPLE about the Los Angeles-based actor.
But it was the unexpected appearance of her lucky number that sealed the deal.
“I was doing some more research and watched another movie he was in called The Covenant,” she says. “I’ve got this crazy 13 lucky thing, and he walks on screen for the first time wearing a sweatshirt with a 13 on it! That was the deciding factor. It wasn’t really up to me, it was about the number.”
The costars seem to have clicked in person, too – they were recently seen hanging out together, when Swift was in L.A. to record with an orchestra for her next album, Speak Now, due Oct. 25.
But getting married on film “was a little strange,” Swift says. “I get to wear big dresses and wear white all the time on the carpet, but there’s nothing quite like actually pretending you’re getting married.”
If the message in her song “Mine” – out Aug. 16 – is any indication, it’ll probably be a long time before she’s ready for the real thing. “It’s a song that is about my tendency to run from love – it’s been a recent tendency,” she told viewers during a live Web chat Tuesday.
“Every really direct example of love that I’ve had in front of me has ended in goodbye, has ended in breakups,” she said. “So I’ve developed a pattern of sort of running away when it comes time to fall in love. This song is sort of about finding the exception to that.”

Taylor Swift hosted a live web chat this afternoon to announce details of her new record, Speak Now, which she’ll release October 25th worldwide. The title, she said, “pertains to the album as a concept, and as an entire theme of the record, more than I can even tell you.”
Swift has been writing the album for two years, she said, since Fearless came out. “You gotta give yourself time to live a lot of things so you can write about a lot of things,” she said. “Thankfully, in the past two years I’ve experienced a lot of things that I’ve been dying to write about. A lot of things that I’ve wanted to say in the moment that I didn’t… Track by track, each song is a different confession to a different person.”
The album was written entirely by Swift, and co-produced by Swift and Nathan Chapman, with what Swift estimated to be 60 percent of the songs recorded in Chapman’s basement. First single, “Mine,” will be released to radio sometime mid-August. Swift said “Mine” is about “my tendency to run from love. It’s a recent tendency. Every example of love in my life has ended in goodbye. The song is about finding the exception to that.” The album will also include “Sparks Fly,” an old song that became a fan favorite after she played it live. Swift plans to tour “the world” after the album’s release.
On the acting front, Swift noted she would love to be in another movie someday, but is too busy with her music career at the moment. She also answered personal questions from fans, involving her favorite summer outfits (sundresses and homemade headbands), her favorite coffee (Starbucks lattes) and her tips for first-time songwriters. “The more it seems like a journal entry, the better,” she encouraged.

When Lady Gaga recently revealed she loves singing Taylor Swift’s hit “You Belong with Me” at the top of her lungs, no one was more surprised – or excited – than the country singer herself.
“That absolutely made my day when I read that because I’m a huge fan of hers,” Swift tells CMT Insider in an interview airing Saturday at 1:30 ET.
Gaga, 24, who said in an interview that she starts singing along to Swift’s song “so loudly” when she hears it on the radio that she’s “so embarrassed,” had also praised the country star, 20, for being “a great songwriter.”
“It’s a great song!” Gaga told Show Studio. “I think it’s just because it’s very whimsical in a way that I’m not necessarily whimsical every day.”
And Swift returns the feelings: “I’m a huge fan of hers and [hearing] that really, really made me smile,” she says. “I appreciated that.”
Although they are in completely different genres, Swift says she admires Gaga for her daring style and music. “I remember the first time I ever saw [Lady Gaga] on [MTV's] TRL,” recalls Swift. “She had like a leotard on and I just thought to myself, that’s so daring. Her music must be daring like that and [I] went home and I downloaded ‘Just Dance.’ ”

Taylor Swift loves a lot of things, but maybe nothing quite so much at this moment as her new Prevost tour bus. “It’s amazing!” she says, bounding through the backstage labyrinth of the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California, where she’ll be performing tonight — long Goldilocks curls bouncing behind her as she goes. “My mom and I just redid the whole thing. Come see!” (more…)
